This Curly Maple Clock is a beauty she stands at 10 1/2" tall and 4" wide with beautiful lion heads and feet that resemble the older clock charm. She has a beautiful deep rich look that you will love and she feels to the touch a buttery feel that makes her feel like the more expensive designs at a fraction of the cost. You will not be disappointed with this beauty at less than two lbs. and 3" deep she will sit proudly on your table, night stand or shelf.

Meet the Maker
My woodworking story began when i was approximately eleven years old. My mother let my sister and I go visit our relatives in Alabama for the summer and I caught the bug. My aunt let my sister and I go with our cousins to a local bible vacation camp for a couple of weeks. There was a man there teaching children how to build something out of wood. I was able to make something with my hands for the first time in my life and I cannot describe the feeling of accomplishment that overwhelmed me then and I still today, 50 plus years later I still get that feeling when I finish a project.
Making people smile when you give them something that you poured your heart into still makes me feel overwhelmed. I will probably be woodworking until my last breath and that’s a great feeling to have.
How it’s Made
This Clock is made out of Curly Maple wood, the wood is dyed with a yellow & Amber dye (Custom mixture) multiple times and sanded to a 800# grit then multiple dyes applied and then sanded again up to 1500# grit to give it that buttery feel . She has multiple layers of Danish oil applied and several coats of a hand rubbed satin poly. There are multiple accessories applied to give it the old charm .
