This little clock looks great sitting on a desk or end table being just a little larger than a hand. She is very smooth to the touch and the finish is a satin clear look. There is a quartz's movement that pulls out to change to battery.

Meet the Maker
My woodworking story began when i was approximately eleven years old. My mother let my sister and I go visit our relatives in Alabama for the summer and I caught the bug. My aunt let my sister and I go with our cousins to a local bible vacation camp for a couple of weeks. There was a man there teaching children how to build something out of wood. I was able to make something with my hands for the first time in my life and I cannot describe the feeling of accomplishment that overwhelmed me then and I still today, 50 plus years later I still get that feeling when I finish a project.
Making people smile when you give them something that you poured your heart into still makes me feel overwhelmed. I will probably be woodworking until my last breath and that’s a great feeling to have.
How it’s Made
This clock is a solid design drilled out for the quartz movement. It has been dyed with several coats and a danish oil applied for a rich look. there are several coats of a satin clear finish. The feet were added to the clock a more polished look.
