About this Product
This beautiful Owl Lamp is a new design that is made from walnut hardwood and inlaid with maple hardwood. The lamp stands approx. 8 1/2" tall and 5" in diameter. The owl figures are made from wood and hand carved by another artesian. There is a 3000 watt soft light Led light recessed in the top of the lamp.

Meet the Maker
My woodworking story began when i was approximately eleven years old. My mother let my sister and I go visit our relatives in Alabama for the summer and I caught the bug. My aunt let my sister and I go with our cousins to a local bible vacation camp for a couple of weeks. There was a man there teaching children how to build something out of wood. I was able to make something with my hands for the first time in my life and I cannot describe the feeling of accomplishment that overwhelmed me then and I still today, 50 plus years later I still get that feeling when I finish a project.
Making people smile when you give them something that you poured your heart into still makes me feel overwhelmed. I will probably be woodworking until my last breath and that’s a great feeling to have.
How it’s Made
The walnut I used was planed down to 1/2" dimension and I glue two pieces together to get a true 1" thickness. The recess light was routed out with a jig I made and the inlay was to create contrast with the walnut. The design idea came from a sibling that loves owls.

Our products are not stained they are dyed and a Danish oil applied or satin poly finish applied or both.
