About this Product
This beautiful clock is a one of a kind. you will love showing this clock off to those guest and relatives. The clock is 10" x 8" x 5". The clock looks like an antique , but it's brand new. I wanted to give it a traditional appeal with a slight modern feel. There is a battery movement that takes a AA battery, replaced in the rear of the clock without remove any covers for conveniences. There is a acrylic front that can be removed from the bottom by removing two screws and bumpers.

Meet the Maker
My woodworking story began when i was approximately eleven years old. My mother let my sister and I go visit our relatives in Alabama for the summer and I caught the bug. My aunt let my sister and I go with our cousins to a local bible vacation camp for a couple of weeks. There was a man there teaching children how to build something out of wood. I was able to make something with my hands for the first time in my life and I cannot describe the feeling of accomplishment that overwhelmed me then and I still today, 50 plus years later I still get that feeling when I finish a project.
Making people smile when you give them something that you poured your heart into still makes me feel overwhelmed. I will probably be woodworking until my last breath and that’s a great feeling to have.
How it’s Made
This clock is made with curly maple wood, she is glued with wood glue and doweled together. There is a acrylic removable front piece that protects the clock hands when dusting. There are coin type brass feet on the bottom. there is several coats of dye finish with a danish oil applied. There are 4 coats of a satin warm poly finish applied and buffed.
