This Quartersawn Sycamore Clock is a beauty at 19" square with beautiful rounded edges that makes it feel elegant. She has a beautiful deep rich look that you will love and she feels to the touch a buttery feel that makes her feel like the more expensive designs at a fraction of the cost. You will not be disappointed with this beauty at 4 lbs. This is a one of a kind design. There is a quartz movement installed for accurate timekeeping and a brass hanger that will support this beauty.

Meet the Maker
My woodworking story began when i was approximately eleven years old. My mother let my sister and I go visit our relatives in Alabama for the summer and I caught the bug. My aunt let my sister and I go with our cousins to a local bible vacation camp for a couple of weeks. There was a man there teaching children how to build something out of wood. I was able to make something with my hands for the first time in my life and I cannot describe the feeling of accomplishment that overwhelmed me then and I still today, 50 plus years later I still get that feeling when I finish a project.
Making people smile when you give them something that you poured your heart into still makes me feel overwhelmed. I will probably be woodworking until my last breath and that’s a great feeling to have.
How it’s Made
This Clock is made out of Quartersawn Sycamore wood, sanded to a 800# grit then multiple coats of Danish oil is applied and then sanded again up to 1500# grit to give it that buttery feel . She has multiple layer coats of a satin poly. There is a quartz movement installed for dependable timekeeping.
